Selling My Business was appointed to sell a successful caravan park which was in operation for 20 successful years, set in 6 acres of picturesque land in a semi-rural location. The business which was priced to sell consisted of a restaurant with 42 covers, owner’s accommodation, tarmacadam car park with electric hook up points and shower and toilet facilities, with potential to develop two cottages, subject to planning consent. 

Solution

We carried out a valuation of the business to gauge an accurate sale price and to assess growth potential. Once we had a targeted advertising strategy in place, the business started to pick up traction from neighbouring caravan parks. The caravan park was sold to a very enthusiastic buyer who shared plans to expand the restaurant range to attract locals.
