Scenario

Brown’s Green is a popular café specialising in vegetarian food located in the heart of Rawdon in Leeds. Its owner had lovingly built up the cafe’s reputation over the years, and together with the support of the local community, the business was going from strength to strength.

When the seller decided it was the right time to put the business up for sale and hand the café onto new owners finding the right buyer was paramount. Having bought Browns Greens Café through the SMB team three years ago, the owner contacted us to see if we could assist with the upcoming sale.

Solution

Due to this being a popular business in a wonderful location, interest was high and we soon managed to secure a sale to buyers who shared the previous owner’s vision to serve solely vegetarian/vegan food with a focus on quality, local ingredients. The sale completed in the summer of 2023.
